a question about ken griffey jr.

if jr. finishes his career as a red is there any chance one of his numbers could be retired by the reds someday? w\ all the history and 500 hrs (who knows where he'll get to) and his dad and all that, i wouldnt mind the reds establishing a permanent link in that vein to kgj especilly now looking at exactly what jr.s numbers mean in light of alot of other hr hitters of his era

I would say if Griffey finishes his career with the Reds, and reaches 600 home runs with the Reds, one day you may see his number retired for the Reds. He is going to need a few seasons like last years though before he gets some serious consideration for it.

Depends what he does in #3, his numbers in #30 don't really warrant retirement.
    Go Gators!
