    Opening day - Help

    Hey,
New in the board, going to opening day and it will be my first trip to the new stadium from down here in WV. Very excited. My tickets, however, are standing room only. Anyone have any suggestions for a good vantage point with such a ticket? Ive never been in there so Im not sure. Also, I've always wanted to go to opening day in cincy, but never had the chance until now, whats going on that morning, where are some good pubs to have a couple and some good food pregame, things to see at the stadium and such.

    thanks!

The notch on either level is great to watch a game from. But you'll be there with a bunch of other people too.

My favorite perch is "the gap" on the top level. But it will probably be packed on OD.

If you don't mind the OF view, another decent spot is on the first level RF. There's a big open space between the 3B line and the RF seats.

More under the smoke stacks and in the outdoor area of the Machine Room (LF).

People watch from behind the back rows on the top and lower levels too.

Play it by ear... walk around and you'll find lots of places to view the game standing up. Last year, we had SRO tickets too... some guys who did nothing but stand (and drink) for the first three innings traded tickets with us so we could sit.

There really are several places to watch without a seat... enjoy!
