The Reds claimed pitcher Jon Coutlangus off waivers from the Giants today and optioned him to Chattanooga. Any of our minor league experts know what to expect from this guy?

Col. Lingus?

I can see where this is going.
25 years old. Not a ton of experience. Good WHIP last year in high A. Probably has a fresh arm considering he was not a pitcher in college or his first year in the minors. I would say it was worth the shot at picking him up.
I hear he's popular with the females.

Another Shackleford case. Good results in year one.
Nice name. He's sure to be a Redszone favorite.
Seriously, I have no idea how talented this guy is, but I love that he is in the Reds organization. Biggest laugh I had all day.
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!
