Not in GABP [wasn't a premium season ticket holder]. Unfortunately, my usual perch in Left CF to the left of the batter's eye was tarped over for security. I could only gaze thru a 5 inch gap... nothing special going on but it was good to see the guys on the field. I wasn't the only fan disappointed -ran into a few others. Oh well...did talk with a couple who just moved to Cincinnati (the guy was wearing a Pirates hat) and he asked what was going on - told him it was Opening Day tomorrow - and he said that he heard that it was an "event" - I said it was actually a holiday.
Did peer into the Fan Zone and saw the starting lineups - but not the order - thanks to Marc over at his blog to take care of that.
Also, for those that are going to the game, I suggest not waiting til the last minute or even the last half hour. There where concrete roadblocks that I assume will be set up at the Crosley Terrace and it might mean that there will be single file (also for security) to get to the gates.
Saw where LaRosa's is now one of the sponsors at GABP - wonder if they will take over the pizza from Papa John's?
On a final note... the weather was perfect - too bad the days weren't switched.
