And the yellow part appears headed directly at Columbus. I'm going to the Clippers Opening Day game tonight and I have a feeling I may need a boat to get back afterwards. Can't argue with free tickets though so I will take the rain poncho and try to stay dry.

I was also thinking of trying to make it out to the Reds game tomorrow night but if the forcast looks bad I might take a pass.

Well, what would you all think? I'm taking my grandma and we're 2 hours away. Should I try it, or should we just scrap tonight and try to find tickets for Sunday afternoon?

I'd skip it, it looks like it's gonna rain all day, Sunday looks nice.

Even if they do get the game in, I'd imagine there will be rain delays, playing in the rain, dodging raindrops, in and out of shelter to stay dry, etc. etc. Reds management is usually hellbent on getting the game in.

Not all very pleasant from a fan perspective.

Not to change the subject, but was the Saturday game always scheduled for 1:15pm or did they move it when I wasn't looking? I thought when the schedule first came out, this first weekend series had a Saturday night game followed by a Sunday day game???

I thought the first weekends games were always day games?

According to the Weather Channel's hour by hour forecast there is between a 50 and 60 % chance of rain/thunderstorms every hour tonight. So they may get this game in but it will probably be delayed at some point. It just depends on whether you want to sit through possible delays tonight.

I have a feeling a couple of players are going to have some real nice games washed out tonight where the stats won't count.

I hope they are able to get the game in, but it ain't lookin' so good.
