    Over in Chicago...

Maddux is scoreless through almost five innings.

I can't help rooting for the geezer. I still really like watching him pitch.

Well, how old is he? 35? 45? 100?

I wrecked it by the way. Freaking Jim Edmonds home run in the seventh.

Uh...maybe it just seems like he's been playing so long. You know, since I was a kid :

Now that he's out, it'd be really cool if the Cubs managed to blow this one. They're up 5-1 at the moment.

Why I bet he's never even played Time Bomb.

I'd just as soon the Cubs beat the Cardinals.

looks like he turns 40 in Sept.
I've always like Maddox - mainly because we share first names. Takes me back to a time when we could field an All-Greg team (Maddox, Jeffries, Olson, Olson, Briley, Vaughn...)

Cards fell again to the Cubs today. Is it possible the Cubs are just getting their wins out of the way before the Reds roll into town?
