Might be first ever dragons game thread...

BJ Szymanski just absolutely launched one on 1st street outside the stadium to tie 1-1.

Fifth Third Field is, dollar for dollar, one of the best stadiums in the country. For a single-A facility, it's by far the best. I love that place.

I'm at UD and it is 66, but my roommate from C'ville says it might be in the 20's (try 25) on TWC (which we don't have here).

Carlos Fisher on the mound for Dayton. Through 3 IP, 1 hit. 9 ground balls (8 for outs), 1 fly out.

dont know his velocity or how good he is really throwing, but fischer is sure getting a lot of groundballs. thats a good thing for a reds prospect

Yeah I was way off on JD's name at first.

Paul Janish infield single. Jay Bruce up with 1 out, 1 on.

First time I got to see him bat. I can't match him with a major leaguer yet (yeah yeah larry walker). But I see a lot of Todd Helton too. He has a solid two-handed swing like Walker and Helton. Flipped one in the gap and got a double after fouling a few off. Real good AB.

There is that line that I can't stand. "alot of times a solo homer is a rally killer" what ever.
