Interesting but meaningless team pitching stats after 1 week...
The Reds staff is 4th in the NL in K's per 9 innings with 7.83 and 2nd in BB's per 9 innings right behind Houston with 2.5
Thanks Chris Duffy!

Just wondering, but does anyone know the pitching stats before Narron took over last year and after he took over. It seems to me that the starting pitchers really responded to the coaching change. Could getting rid of Gullet have helped more than we think. I don't think Gullet is a bad coach, but maybe the pitchers just needed a change. Just a useless thought of mine, and believe me, I have a lot of those. Now with a complete regime change, I think they players have responded beyond what I thought they would anyway. I know its early, but there just seems to be a different attitude. Not quite the same as happened with the Bengals when Marvin Lewis took over, but the same type of thing. Maybe I'm just over optomistic, but I like what I've seen so far. Am I the only one who thinks that?
