How do you think we'll do vs the Cards?

The Reds are off to a good start, but it was only the Pirates and Cubs.. How do you think they'll do in the three game series vs the Cards this weekend?
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

Can someone explain to me why Harang is pitching tomorrow night and what is up with Williams and how is this rotation put together? Thanks

Friday will be Harang's regular day, as he pitched after Milton last weekend vs. Pittsburgh. Williams is the fifth starter, so he will sometimes be skipped or pushed back, depending on off days.

    April Schedule (with pitching probables)
    4/3 vs. Chi. - Harang
    4/4 <OFF>
    4/5 vs. Chi. - Arroyo
    4/6 vs. Pitt. - Claussen
    4/7 vs. Pitt. - Milton
4/8 vs. Pitt. - Harang (due to off day on 4/4, he is pitching on four days rest)
    4/9 vs. Pitt. - Williams

    4/10 <OFF>
    4/11 at Chi. - Arroyo
    4/12 at Chi. - Claussen
    4/13 at Chi. - Milton
4/14 at StL. - Harang (pitching on five days rest, due to off day on 4/10)
4/15 at StL. - Williams (pitching on five days rest, due to off day on 4/10)
    4/16 at StL. - Arroyo

    4/17 vs. Fla. - Claussen
    4/18 vs. Fla. - Milton
    4/19 vs. Fla. - Harang
    4/20 at Milw. - Williams
    4/21 at Milw. - Arroyo
    4/22 at Milw. - Claussen
    4/23 at Milw. - Milton

    4/24 at Was. - Harang
    4/25 at Was. - Williams
    4/26 at Was. - Arroyo
    4/27 <OFF>
    4/28 vs. Hou. - Claussen
    4/29 vs. Hou. - Milton
    4/30 vs. Hou. - Harang

Remember, predicting pitching probables is like predicting the weather. You are less accurate as you go further into the future. But if you are interested in a three-, four-, or five-day forecast, then it is more reliable.

Re: How do you think we'll do vs the Cards?

"The team that I know in Cincinnati is the same as Milwaukee -- they're a young group and play hard, and they always seem to be in games," said Cards center fielder Jim Edmonds. "They've got a lot of energy, so we're going to have to match it."
This is a quote from Edmonds regarding the upcoming series.

If Chicago can sweep'em, then I hope we could take 2 of 3.

The Reds take 1 of 2 against the Cards this weekend.
