Now that one was borderline outside. But it's OK, as long as Milton gets that call, too.

That called strike 3 on Phillips was called a ball on Derrek Lee. All I ask for in consistency. I don't care if Barry Bonds or Aaron Harang is batting - give them the same strike zone.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

I'm interested to see who gets sent down or released on Quentin McCracken's return. IIRC, McCracken's on a Minor League deal, so I'm guessing he's heading to Louisville.

I think it's John Fay's turn to do the 2nd inning today. I'll paraphase some of the answers.

It looked like a ball to me, but Zambrano is getting great movement on his pitches, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the Ump saw the pitch tailing back toward the plate and rung Phillips up based on that.

Stupid Labor Law class caused me to misss Adam Dunn's homer!

Cool! The Cubs giving away outs early today.

Fay says that Narron wants to give Griffey a day off in STL - but he gets today (obviously)

Perez lines out to Dunn. Pagan stays at 2nd - 2 outs. Blanco up.

By the way, last night after work I went home and googled Isabella Soprano - and I was correct, not a good idea if you are at work. And second base has a very different meaning to me when looking at her pictures.
