    Yeah, right.

    Sorry. I'm still angry.

I'd love to hear his explanation for this. He hasn't given one and I've missed it has he?

    But I will add....

batting Kearns 8th is pretty ridiculous.

EE and AK aren't old enough.

If you want to split up the lefties and righties why not do

    Freel
    Lopez
    Kearns
    Dunn
    Enc
    Hatteberg
    RA
    Valentin
    Williams

Upon further questioning, Narron clarified his earlier statements, "Well, unfortunately we can't keep both Junior and Freel on the bench. Luckily this allignment allows us to get Aurilia in there at 2B which really helps us up the middle."
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Hatteberg is 8-16 all-time vs. Jabba Ponson.

That no explanation for the batting order. I especially *like* the "luckily" part.

(Truly, I'm not killing the messenger even though it may come across that way)

    Freel
    Lopez
    Dunn
    Kearns
    Aurilia
    EE
    Hatteberg
    Valentin

It spreads the power throughout the order and to me is a lot more tough for the opposing pitcher.
