Pete Rose Rookie Card On Ebay (PSA 9 MINT)

I, of course, am not the seller. I am certainly not a buyer.

That is the most ridiculous buy it now price I've ever seen.

I just looked up the book value for this card, and I see that it is $4800. I've been out of the baseball card market for a while now, but I'm curious why this card is so valuable now. When I quit buying cards, when the bottom of the market fell out in the early 1990's, this card was only valued at about $500.
This is the Cal Ripkin Jr. of typos.

I'm sure it's one of only a few in PSA 9....you probally won't find many examples of that card in as nice of shape as that........There is big money in vintage graded cards....because so few grade that high........I'd bet the population in PSA 9 is under 10........

$4800 is the PSA 9 book price.

Psa Book price is out the window..it really depends on the population of the card in that grade and how much those big spenders putting together graded sets on there registry.........people pay crazy money for high grade vintage cards.........

I only own a few graded cards. A few years back, I purchased graded rookie cards of McGwire, Bonds and Clemens. I kind of regret that now.
