You can have it as long as I can claim the "im sick of the scrappiness discussion".

And that has been one the good things I've seen the offense do so far. Hope to see Hattaberg eat a lot of pitches today. Freel does to.

Actually...to be technical, the key to every game is to score more runs than your opponent. Depends how verbose you want to get.

CE Presents Guide to RedsZone Game Threads

SECTION 2: PRE-GAME STARTING LINEUP COMPLAINTS

Prior to the start of a game, the game thread space will be dedicated to complaints about the starting lineup that has been put on the field. It has been statistically proven that lineups generate the greatest number complaints of any non-play incident in the game thread (using the "Complaints Created" stats).

The following situations tend to generate the most complaints:
    - Ryan Freel not batting leadoff
    - Ryan Freel not playing
    - Felipe Lopez not playing
    - Felipe Lopez playing, but against lefthanded pitchers
    - Rich Aurillia starting in place of Felipe Lopez
    - Rich Aurillia starting in place of Ryan Freel
    - Rich Aurillia starting in pllace of Edwin Encarnacion
    - Rich Aurillia existing
    - Rich Aurillia batting too high
    - Rich Aurillia batting too low
    - Adam Dunn batting too low in the batting order
    - Adam Dunn leading off (see: Boone, Bob)
    - Adam Dunn without sufficent protection in the lineup
    - Austin Kearns being buried in the lineup
    - Austin Kearns being sent to Louisville before the game thread starts
    - Edwin Encarnacion getting a day off
    - Edwin Encarnacion getting the night off
    - Edwin Encarnacion being seen at the bus terminal with a ticket to Louisville
    - Tony Womack being mentioned in the starting lineup
    - Errors contributing to benching for players you like
    - Errors not contributing to benching for players you don't like
    - "Getaway Day" lineups featuring scraps and scrubs
    - Breaking up the lefties
    - Breaking up the righties
    - Breaking up the band
    - Tinkering with a lineup that worked
    - Refusing to change a lineup that doesn't
    - Using small statistics to justify change
    - Refusing to look at big statistics that do justify a change
    - Starting Eric Milton as the pitcher

Please phrase your complaints in the form of a disgusted exclamation and insert as many of the following words as possible: scrappy, crappy, idiotic, moronic, lack of detail to the little thins, contact, strikeouts, benching, Miley-esque, Boone-like, firing and DFA. Acceptable smileys include headbanging for anger, beer me for happiness, and potentially the band smiley for "breaking up the band" comments.

pheh. I don't want him pressing at the plate. He was in a comfort zone. I'd have left him there and batted Kearns second, Dunn 3rd and EE 4th.

    just sayin.
