    Full Name: Jose Ramon Mesa
    Born: 05/22/1966

    Jose Ramon Mesa...he and his wife Mirla have 6 children; sons Ralph (6/29/79), Juan Jose (8/4/85), Jesse (8/17/88), and Jose Jr. (8/13/93), and daughters Yamely (1/15/74) and Yenny (7/16/87)

    My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

    Maybe they are his wife's from a previous marriage or possibly adopted. Believe it or not, having children at an early age AND logic are both common in West "by God" Virginia.

    That's what I'm thinking because it would be pretty amazing to be a father at 7 years old.

    It appears that Yamely's birth year was a typo.

    Has six children: Ralph (29 June 1979), Yamely (15 January 1984), Juan (4 August 1985), Jenny (16 July 1987), Jesse (17 August 1988), and Jose Jr. (13 August 1993). Jose Jr. and Juan have served as batboys for the Philadelphia Phillies.


    Still, he was just barely 13 when Ralph was born.
