I got to give props to Jerry Narron for leaving the dugout and giving it to the crew chief Charlie Relaford for such an atrocious call.About time we see a little fire in a skipper, something that these players haven't seen in quite awhile.

Who else LOVED that head bob? That was a classic argument. When you get thrown out, you go all out. And there is no better way than with the ridiculous, no meaning, out of hand HEAD BOB! That is how you do it JN!
I still maintain that he couldn't stand watching Williams on the mound anymore and did everything he could to run away and hide.
Thankfully, Weeks, Hatterberg, Fielder and the 1B Blue gave him his quick exit.
LOL, I'm with ya man. That was hilariousOriginally Posted by AvesIce51
I thought is was wonderful as well. We needed a side view replay to see if there was any spittle involved. If so, he gets a solid 9/10 for the effort...reserving a 10/10 rating for extra effort stuff like dirt kicking, hat stomping, and base throwing.Originally Posted by AvesIce51
The head bob was sweet thats for sure. I agree with Highlifeman though I think like most of us Narron was just absolutely boiling watching Williams suck again and that call was his breaking point.
Haven't see that since the days of Trader Jack.Originally Posted by AvesIce51

I loved his head bobbing.........What with Narron's voice.........sounds like a gravel pit in his throat.........
That's the kind of call you gotta get thrown out on. Common sense tells you the guy couldn't have kept his foot on the bag. And checking with the home plate ump? I'm all for "getting it right" but the 1b ump was standing right there and the home plate ump was 90 feet away. Just get the stinking call right in the first place, Relaford.
As for Narron, I wanted him to do some barking on Sunday at the atrocious balls and strikes, too, but nary a word. Was glad to see him out there both tonight and on Monday on that pathetic call on Freel trying to steal 3b.
"Rounding 3rd and heading for home, good night everybody"
I thought the strike zone was horrible last night, for both teams
I thought it was funny after he was done barking he calmly walked back to the dugout as if nothing happened.
If it was Miley, he would have got a Coke, a smile, and a
If it was Miley, people would wonder why he wasnt in Columbus managing the Clippers... Security would then usher him out.
