    Good comment.

A bad result is not always a bone headed play.

I wonder if he had gotten a hit whether anyone would have said he should have taken a pitch?

I didn't mind EE's at bat. He's got to figure the pitcher's going to groove one after 4 straight walks, and if the ball is in EE's zone, which it looks like it was, he should go for it. Just too bad he broke his bat.

Yes. I never like to see a player swing at the first pitch when a guy has walked two or three in a row.

    Another nice play by EE!

Welsh just mentioned that Arroyo went to Narron and said he's willing to go to a 4-man rotation for awhile...

Arroyo only guy on staff who offered to go to 4-man staff to Narron. Arroyo slowly becoming my favorite Red.

Yup. I'd have been happy he got a hit, but I think that you play right into a pitcher's hands when you help him when he's being wild. Davis had given up FOUR walks consecutively -- Granted, Austin battled for his walk, but he got the free pass.

Edwin, in that stiatution, needs to be told that he should wait. See what the first pitch looks like.

Can we have Arroyo pitch 3 times in that 4 man rotation? :
