Koronka's not exactly considered the next Scott Kazmir. Think Chris Hammond... the original version.

The deal was almost sunk until the Cubs offered to throw in two pairs of leather pants.

Koronka pitched 8 innings against the D-Rays last night to pick up his 3rd straight win.

His numbers now look like this:

    Code:
Year Team G GS W L SV CG SHO IP H R ER HR BB K ERA WHIP BAA
    2006 TEX 4 4 3 1 0 0 0 24.0 22 10 10 3 6 18 3.75 1.17 .239
My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

He was a PTBNL later in deal with the Cubs and Rangers for Freddie Bynum so even the cubs were not that high on him after having him for 2 years.

May I direct you to Luke Hudson in 2004. Blind squirrel, nut, etc.
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.
