I just picked up Pat Burrell off waivers. They dropped him for Xavier Nady..
Nady is playing well (.329 6 HRs 11 RBIs 1.003 OPS), but jeez. Burrell has 6 HRs 14 RBIs with a 952 OPS, but last year Pat put up 32 HRs 117 RBIs along with 99 walks and a 892 OPS. He has missed a few games a year in the past, and still put up similar numbers. However, this is Nady's first full season, and normally OPS's around the early 700s.
Not sure what they were thinking, but I was glad to get Pat Burrell, who is Adam Dunn-lite.
