    When Griffey Returns...

So what do you think is going to happen when Griffey returns?

Will Dunn move to first base?

    Will there be a trade?

Will Dunn stay in LF causing Freel to lose playing time?

I like to think Dunn will move to first base...

Yeah I hope they either go with the option of playing Dunn at first base or dealing someone for some pitching. I'm sure Freel would still get in a handful of games a week, but it would be a shame to look at the bench and see Freel sitting there 3 or 4 games a week.

Freel's onbase percentage is 46%...that's what you want in a lead-off hitter.
How do you set him? I look for a trade. Kearns is our best trade bate. You have to trade something to get something.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

Freel will lose time, I don't see a trade coming.

I'd love for it to be #1 but I think it will be #2. I agree with RM too, Q is on the hot seat.

After the move yesterday I've got to think they will either trade Larue or Send David Ross back the the minors, I assume he has options left.
I'm East of you. Be very very worried. Not quite OBX. But, be worried.

Freel and Phillips will probably split time at 2B. A trade wouldn't surprise me though.

Ross has no options, that's why the Dodgers had to trade him.

actually he was traded by the Padres to the Reds, for some reason the Pads think that Piazza can still play.

I'd rather see LaRue or Valentin traded than Ross. Ross has managed some good games, and has earned high praise from Bronson such that he is Beantown Boy's private catcher. He may not have the offense, but with our lineup, you can afford a mediocre bat or two. If LaRue or JV + a 2nd baseman can net some good relief pitching or a 4th starter, do it.

In the end Krivsky will likely trade the one that brings the best return.
