    Now we're getting somewhere!

    Now we're getting somewhere!

3 shutouts already. How many did they get all last year? I bet it wasn't any more than 3. When I look at some scores we've seen in the wins (9-2, 8-3, 9-1, 3-1, 4-2, 11-0, 1-0, 5-0), I'm beginning to believe we're getting somewhere.

The current bullpen (ie. including Shack and excluding Burns) has a combined era of 4.34. The current rotation (ie. including Ramirez and excluding Milton) is a combined 4.89. And that's with Claussen struggling!

136 runs scored and 121 against. What does that project to? Still need a couple pieces to keep this momentum going but it gives a fan hope!

I'd rather put a loss on Oswalt.

More impressive than the shutouts to me has been the number of quality starts thus far by the starters. That's really encouraging to keep the bullpen from wearing down (assuming it's possible they could get worse haha).

Seriously though, with one or two more starters and a bullpen arm or two, this club is pretty good.

Even Dave Williams got a win last night! Now, you know we're getting somewhere.

Is Oswalt a Keebler elf in the offseason?

I dunno but when he pitches against us, he's the Jolly Green Giant.
