Supposedly this year's Yankees have the best collection of offensive players known to man and the Devil Rays just got done beating them in 10 innings. The interesting thing about this game is that the Yankees were issued 14 walks to go along with their 6 hits yet they managed only 2 runs. They even had 30 outs to work with given the 10 inning game.
Mariano Rivera took the loss. As Joe Garagiola used to say "it is a funny game".
You never know.
I bet the Yanks are fit to be tied. No way they should have 20 baserunners, yet score but 2 runs.
