Holy crap, what time is the game today? (must...pay...attention)

Where is Pujols? Is he too distraught after last night to play? Did Grande elope with Edmonds?
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect.

It is unbelievable Pujols is not playing. Lifetime he has hit .368 with 3 homers against Williams.

    Who doesn't?
Games are won on run differential -- scoring more than your opponent. Runs are runs, scored or prevented they all count the same. Worry about scoring more and allowing fewer, not which positions contribute to which side of the equation or how "consistent" you are at your current level of performance.

Hatteberg has a .333/.405/.455 line in 33 at-bats from the 5 hole this season. He's managed one RBI with that line in that slot.

Well if Williams gets clobbered today against the Memphis Redbirds I say throw him overboard like the Pirate he is.

Wow, that shows LaRussa is not worried about the early part of the season that much, a game of this magnitude and he rest's their 2 best players...

LaRussa usually gives most of the regulars the day off on day games following night games. Pujols usually plays though. Edmonds and Rolen would almost always get this day off.
