Dunn has to be the laziest fielder...

It seems like he trots to the ball, and picks it up in slow motion when compared to other players.

    I'm sure you all agree.

Leave Dunn alone. Everybody can't be a Gold Glover. Everybody can't hit 40 plus home runs every year. The Reds are in first place so quitcha bittchen.
Enjoy the Reds and the games.

Really, I just saw him catch a flyball and he didn't even move. Lazy bum.

This is the subject that will not go away. Adam is not fleet afoot or "agressive" at times but he's a Red and that's that.
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

I think the word they are looking for is hustle. He may just be a graceful fielder moving so that it seems as if the ground stays still.

Yeah, I am not Dunn hating so much. He just is slow and takes bad routes so it seems like he takes his sweet time.

Ever see Yao on a fast break?

Tall guys running is not exactly a study in the beauty of movement.

Kind of like the broken version of Griffey that the Reds have in CF.

He also K's too much, doesn't hit well with runners in scoring position, and doesn't take baseball seriously. I also heard that he doesn't like babies or puppies. Why do the Reds keep this guy around?

When you are s big as Adam Dunn, you just don't move fast. Find another 6-5 (or whatever he is) outfielder who moves much faster.

As to the crack about Griffey, he hasn't played in weeks. He's hurt and piling on is just not good form.

Re: Dunn has to be the laziest fielder...

I think he's been playing a little more tentatively since his Opening Day debacle.

It doesn't really concern me, though. I still like his arm, and his bat more than makes up for anything he lacks in the field.

I still think he should be playing first base, though.

I would trade 20 home runs and 250 points of his OPS for a bit of 'scrappiness".
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.
