    I'd prefer Deno leading off.

I'd move Larue into the 4th spot. Put EE in the 2 spot and Lopez in the fifth spot. I want my two reliable hitters hitting 2 and 3 in the lineup.

In fact, Deno should be playing instead of Kearns.

    McCracken leading off.

Way to give them an automatic out to leadoff the first inning.

Just send Denorfia back down where he can gets some atbats. No use in him riding the bench while Quinton McCracken gets all the playing time.

I don't think McCracken's playing is the problem. I think Kearns' playing is the problem. Though I would put Deno at the top of the order and McCracken in Kearns' spot.

    Huh?

    You want to bench Kearns?

He's in an absolute downward spiral. Right now, I'd do anything to keep his worth artificially inflated.

I'm sorry I don't follow. Kearns line of .313/375/.522/.897 isn't too shabby plus Deno in CF and Kearns in RF has better overall defense.
