    why?

Kearns is hitting .409 /.435/.500/.935 for the month.

He's hitting .313/.375/.522 including a .409/.435/.500 May. How is that a downward spiral?

He has been one of our top two or three hitters this year.

Your lack of confidence in Kearns has no boundaries does it?

I've been absolutely baffled by the criticism Kearns has received on this board this year. Dude is OPSing right around .900 just as I thought he would.

His OB has been fine. His slugging has dropped .100 points since April 21st. He's been reduced to the singles/occasional doubles hitter that he's become. And we all saw what Sean Casey got us in trade.

Plus Kearns is the only solid defensive OF we have.

Why is Denorfia here if McCracken is going to play? Seriously I'd rather see McCracken in Louisville

He has 6 2 hit games in the last 8, since 4-29 his OB% has gone up 29 points and his slugging is the exact same.

Are we alll watching the same games?

You are the winner of my new award. It's a called a "Potter". You get it for being as curmudgeonly as Old Man Potter from "It's a Wonderful Life".

    Congratulations!

Kearns' homers come in bunches. He's always been like that, even in 2002 and 2003.

If FCB were Reds GM, he would trade Kearns for Josh Hancock.

We wouldn't have to; Hancock'd be pitching the 8th nning for Javier Vazquez or Zito.
