Re: Rough Monday night for Central

I've been doing the golf card scoring (as explained in a previous thread), this hole must be the hardest on the course, bc no one is doing well.

    2-3 Reds
    3-3 Cards
    1-4 Astros
    0-4 Cubs
    1-4 Brews
    2-4 Pirates

Quick recap on scoring: 162 games has 18 "holes" of 9 games. Par is 5 wins in that 9 game stretch. This is the 4th hole, or games 28-36 for teams. If you par the entire season you win 90 games (hence 18 x 5 wins = 90), -1 is 91 wins and so on.

    Thread: http://www.redszone.com/forums/showt...highlight=golf

Through the first three holes we are -4 (so if we win 5 out of 9 on average the rest of the year, we win 94 games).

    -3 Astros
    -2 Cards
    E Brews
    +1 Cubs
    +8 Pirates

(scores dont change til after the 9 game set, so anyone with 5 losses in the 9 game set will be lower after that 9 is complete)

I told y'all Jeff Francis was the bomb. Dude handcuffs the league's best offenses in back to back starts.

Interestingly enough - he's a Rockie, which makes it a lot more mind-boggling.
Some people play baseball. Baseball plays Jay Bruce.
