    Cincinnati Hotels

A little help here...planning a Memorial Day trip out to Cincy and the best rates (total package) are for the Millenium or the Cincinnatian. Does anyone have any insight on either hotel? I usually stay at the Hyatt but Travelocity has good rates on these two. Any info would be appreciated...thanks.

The Millenium is right across the street from the Hyatt, nothing special but not bad. Quick jaunt to the park. Helpful staff most of the time I've had to deal with them.

Championships for MY teams in my lifetime:
    Cincinnati Reds - 75, 76, 90
    Chicago Blackhawks - 10, 13, 15
    University of Kentucky - 78, 96, 98, 12
    Chicago Bulls - 91, 92, 93, 96, 97, 98

Priceline + some research at biddingfortravel.com can usually get you a 3-star downtown hotel for under $40/night. I've stayed at the Radisson and the hotel across the street from the Radisson for that rate.

BTW, here's a section in the FAQ that you might find useful

    The Radisson? Where is that?

I believe the Cincinnatian is supposed to be a really nice luxury hotel (4 star, 4 diamond)... in fact, I think visiting teams stay there now. Here's the website: http://www.cincinnatianhotel.com/

The Millenium is considered a luxury hotel, according to this website.

Sorry. I remember now it was the Sheraton Four Points. I stay in about a dozen hotels a year. After a while, they start to run together in the memory bank.

When I visit Cincy I like to stay at the Mariemont Inn. Check it out at this site:
