Think Charley Casserly is regretting not taking Reggie Bush?

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2440274

Charley Casserly has officially resigned as general manager of the Houston Texans. He told the Texans staff as of 2:30 p.m. ET.

Casserly, who has one year on his contract, will be applying for the vice president of football operations vacancy in the NFL offices in New York.

Candidates for the opening in Houston are expected to include former Atlanta Falcons personnel chief Ron Hill and current Denver Broncos director of pro scouting Rick Smith.

The Texans have scheduled a news conference for 4 p.m. ET.
And yes, I read that he is considering joining the NFL office.

Nope, from an article I read last week it was head coach man who was pushing for Williams.

It looks like a man who wanted to take Bush and lost a power struggle.

Nope, this was going to happen regardless of the draft all the way. Casserly met with Bob McNair (the owner of the Texans) after the season and they agreed that Casserly was going to step aside (Casserly wanted to pursue a job with the league in NYC) but McNair asked him to stay on through the draft.
    Go BLUE!!!
