    could be a long weekend of baseball

    This is the Phillies only visit to GABP this year and it is supposed to be rainy the entire weekend.

    I'm not sure how far away Possum Lodge is from Cincy, but I betcha the rain will be spotty and light around here. The temps are low though.

    ol' Red will be visiting the City of the Flying Pigs for the games this weekend.

    Looks like rain won't be a huge problem tonight (I hope so at least, I'm heading down) but it's going to be cold as balls tonight.

    Woud be nice to see a 100k weekend in GAB.....I hope they get 30k tonight...close 40k tomorrow with Dunn give-away....too bad the Reds couldn't have came up with something better for the Mother's day give-away....a stinking water bottle is a joke...will be cool seeing the pink bats and that stuff though...

    Hopefully we can rainout Williams spot in the rotation for another day when hopefully another pitcher can take the mound.

    I would love to see it too, but I don't think they'll get anywhere near 30,000 tonight with the cold weather.

    Could also be interesting (not in a good way) since Ramirez, Williams and Claussen are going back-to-back-to back.

    Here is the National Weather Service forecast for the weekend. I will be at the game tomorrow night hopefully watching a game but probably watching the rain.

    Tonight: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low around 44. West wind between 3 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

    Saturday: Periods of showers, mainly between 2pm and 3pm. High around 55. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

    Saturday Night: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a low near 44. Light north wind. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

    Sunday: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high around 56. Calm wind becoming west between 4 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
