    over/under Reds wins

    Reds wins in 2006: 90

Got this from PTI this evening.

By the way, Bob Ryan and Michael Wilbon both took the under. They said having to play the Cards and the Stros so many times will catch up with us.
For every action there is an equal and opposite criticism.

I'm a realist, but this is a case when I'd love to be proven wrong
    Is it "next season" yet?

Even with this hot start, I'd still be happy with any win total around 90, over or under. That would mean we'd have a shot at the playoffs for the first time since '99.

89 wins got the wildcard last year.

Wilbon thinks we'll finish with 87.

Hey Wilbon, the Cards and Stros have to play the Reds too....

    How are his Cubs doing?

I wonder what kind of odds you could get for the Reds finishing last.
". . . acquiring J. Blanton from Oakland for, apparently, Bailey/Cueto, Votto and a lesser prospect. I do it in a second . . . The Reds' equation this year is simple: Make Matt Belisle your #3 starter . . . trade for Blanton, win 85 or more, be in the mix all summer." - Paul Daugherty, Feb. 8, 2008

    I thought about 88 or 89 wins.

Under....waaaay under unless we get some bullpen help.

Our pen is just plain horrible.
