    Victory guaranteed tonight

I personally guarantee a victory for the Redlegs tonight. I'm not going to guess at a score, because I would be nowhere close. But this is it...the slide stops today and we get back on track.

    Final score:

    Redlegs 4 Buccos 1

My dad got to enjoy 3 Reds World Championships by the time he was my age. So far, I've only gotten to enjoy one. Step it up Redlegs!

I say just the opposite; the Pirates are bound to start winning a few against the Central--why not the Reds? They've been as bad as any bad team in the month of May. In fact, I say the Pirates run the table this series.

I have a sneaking suspicion that it's going to get much, much worse before it gets better; but I do think it will get better.

How about Bronson hitting his 3rd HR of the season tonight? Ask the Magic 8-Ball for me, Joseph!

Coming from a person who lost his 1st born's services for a year b/c he knew that Jimmy Haynes would not win at least 14 games in the 2002 season (as predicted by Sir Don G.)... I feel a lot better about the above prediction/feeling/suspicion.

Arroyo is convinced the Pirates regret letting him go.

"I know they do," he said. "The last two years I had with the Red Sox, are probably comparable, if not better than the stats of what they've run out there the last couple of years. I'm sure they'd love to have me back if they could."

I hope so. But I wouldn't bet money on it. This team will explode one of these games. I'm thinking in Detroit it will. Dunn can DH and line-up should explode. For a pitcher's park. The ball is flying out of Comerica this year.....

I can easily see the Reds getting shut out and the Pirates scraping together 1 run in the sixth off a few lucky breaks (a bloop single, an error, a ground out that moves the runners over, and a sac fly).

Baseball is funny like that.. I hope for nothing more than a win. Bronson can't carry this staff all year. Bullpen/Offense need to pick it up. He is having a cy young type year.. wow.. did I just put a Reds player in the same sentance as Cy Young? This trade deadline might be an interesting one.

Keep in mind to that we are facing Oliver Perez who for the most part has owned the Reds. I predict a low scoring affair.
