Is the Frisco team in town? They have a pretty nice ball park. AA Texas league ball.

I thought the Texas School Book Depository had a pretty decent walking tour. IIRC, the last time I was in Dallas, it cost less than $ 10 for admission and that included a cassette tape that would guide you around the building (WARNING: bring your own headphones unless you have no problem with community earwax).

catch ya a rangers game, couple of good teams comming in town next couple weeks. frisco ballpark and frisco mall are hella nice. the zoo here is OK, but not anywhere near the cincy zoo. theres random bars around here that you can hit up too.

but the 9 years i've lived here i've had more fun out of town then i've ever had in town.

    Re: Dallas area

Thanks. Found the AA ballpark and the Frisco mall. I lived through the whole Kennedy shooting so I should be interested in the Depository, but I'm not into it for some reason.

Drove up to Oklahoma yesterday to check out a casino. I'm not much of a gambler - I like my money too much to throw it away. But I decided I would sacrifice $40 in the name of entertainment.

So I walked in with $40 in my pocket and an hour later walked out with $235. I was pleased.

Done with work for the day - gonna hit the pool.

If you get a chance there is a great restaurant called Bidi's in the area... I think in Grand Prairie.
