Great game. Does anyone have a scouting report from this game? FB velocity, delivery assessment and number of different type of pitches used would be interesting. Lookouts and Smokies are tied 5-5 and are getting ready to start the 13th inning.
They have some surprisingly good lesser known pitching in the minors. I hope they keep it up, it could help in trades if they stay in this thing.

Not shabby.
Those are great numbers, and that is what many of us expected out of Zach Ward. I loved the pick of Ward in the third round last year and I'm starting to like it even more now. Ward is a guy who could move through the system quickly if he can stay healthy and continue to produce. I would bump him to Sarasota soon if he continues to pitch well.
I think he can develop into a solid John Lackey type of pitcher.
