A sweep tomorrow would be huge

A sweep of the Brewers would be a huge momentum builder for the Reds due to their problems with the Brew Crew in the past. This team is really starting to heat up and the bullpen is improving and the Lizard has stepped it up and pitched really well along with Arroyo and Harang. The defense made some really good plays tonight and the offense has started to live up to its expectations. The Reds are starting to show that they're one of those good teams that can bounce back after a losing streak.

The Lizard had another pretty good outing tonight. He may be a key for us this year.

Last year the Brewers owned us 10-6. This year we are 5-1 against them. They obviously are hurting with Sheets and Ohka on the DL and their bullpen woes. Their lineup is definitely potent enough to score runs though. If we continue to swing the sticks and play strong fundamentals like we did tonight, than I think Claussen can get us a sweep. Here's to Barry Bonds hitting 17 HR's tonight and tomorrow.

Obviously a sweep would be good psycologically, but also we need to win as many of these games as possible (duh) because they are division rival and games we should legitamatley win. If we stack a buch of the "you ought win that one" games up then if we go 1-2 in a series it doesn't hurt as bad. No rocket science there.

But yea, it be nice to sweep them as partial payback for last year.

WE Gotta make up for those losses to the Pirates somewhere too.

I look for us to stay hot for a few more weeks and i hope that consists of a 9 game win streak over the next few weeks.

Sit down the Brew, Dbacks, and then take down the Cubbies in Chicago for a 9 game win streak would kick but.

However the Dbacks gave us trouble in Zona so, i figure we SHOULD sweep the Brew tomorrow, take 1 or 2 from the Dbacks then SWEEP THE CUBBIES to end the month and have 30+ wins headed to June.

Good news is Milton, Harang, and i think Arroyo are set to pitch to the Dbacks... however id hold off Arroyo for the Cubbies series he's 2-0 vs them

I'm flying out Friday and going to the games Saturday and Sunday. Needless to say I lucked out by getting Harang and Arroyo. And I am missing Webb as he throws Friday. Chances of me regretting the games I chose are...remote.

Very happy with The Lizard so far. This offense doesn't need all-star pitchers, just ones who don't do Dave Williams imitations.
