In those things which we commit to practice we can master, and with mastery we have the freedom to use these skills whenever we desire, without this practice we are slaves to our inability.
"Whipping Post" and "In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed" are classics. The Fillmore Concerts is my favorite album of all time. I saw The Allman Brothers (The J. Geils Band opened) on Boston Common in the early seventies just weeks before Duane Allman died. With two lead guitars and two drummers, they were an awesome band in those days. They went down hill after that and became two commercial. I saw them years later in Watkins Glenn with The Grateful Dead and The Band. They just were not near the same band.
"I am your child from the future. I'm sorry I didn't tell you this earlier." - Dylan Easton
"Trying is the first step towards failure." Homer Simpson
"I wasn't looking too good but I was feeling real well." Keith Richards
"What's a nice tuna like you doing in a swamp like this?"
It is on the whole probable that we continually dream, but that consciousness makes such a noise that we do not hear it. Carl Jung.
Dunno if I mentioned this one but it just came to me: "Penthouse and Pavement" by Heaven 17. Rocking bassline for 80's Brit pop.
The bass line in "Little Green Bag" by George Baker is badass.
This song is better known for being in the movie Reservoir Dogs by Tarantino. Cool song.
"....the two players I liked watching the most were Barry Larkin and Eric Davis. I was suitably entertained by their effortless skill that I didn't need them crashing into walls like a squirrel on a coke binge." - dsmith421
