Claussen was really in a tough spot on that play: no matter what, you want to advance a base on the play, and if he had gone off of the bag and the ball was caught, he doesn't advance and were stuck with 1st and 2nd with one out instead of 1st and 3rd/ 2nd and 3rd with one out
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Did it seem like that ball by Hatteberg was hit a lot harder than it really was??
My brother and I are sitting here watching the game and he yelled "GONE" when Hatte hit that ball

Tough break. Oh well, if Davis keeps walking guys we'll tag him. If not we'll get to the bullpen early still from him throwing alot of pitches.

Must have hit it off the end, because I thought it was going to be deep right field at worst. Looked good of the bat.

Yeah, I think GG's premature celebration made believers out of all of us.

If Claussen can hang onto this 3 run outing, I feel confident that we can get back into this.

And the Reds are done with the bottom of the 4th already......5 pitch inning for Davis........

meanwhile in Sarasota Homer Bailey just lost a no hitter in the 5th on a solo HR

    His line so far: 5 IP, 1 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB, 7 K
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......
