    Dear Jerry, a Double switch is not always necessary, especially when it removes one of your better bats and puts an auto out in the lineup.

    The problem is, if the Reds score enough runs to force extra innings, then they will likely bat around (or come close), which means that Weathers will likely be pinch-hit for, anyway.
