Hey LaRue! Try RUNNING instead of jogging to 1B...Geez! Too many of today's ballplayers give up too easy.

Go all out at all times because anything can happen.... like the 3Bman juggling the ball.

What do you expect? If they don't give up early, then people accuse them of being "scrappy"--like that's a bad thing to be!

McClelland usually has a trapezoid effect on the home plate strike zone instead of the rectangle. He's not, IMO, a very decisive umpire, which is the worst type. To me he rattles easy and lets others dictate the flow of the game. I don't think he's a crew chief anymore.

On the other hand CB Buckner is in the same category as McClelland except that Buckner makes bad calls decisively and then will argue how he sees it, even though he's wrong.

I agree. I have always thought that LaRue runs pretty well for a catcher, too.

I heard George mention on Monday night that McClelland was the crew chief.
    I miss Adam Dunn.

That was a "benefit of the doubt" call at 2B. Because on the replay, Lee got his foot in there at 2B. RA tagged him on the knee.
