The scores by Ennio Morricone in Once Upon A Time In The West and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly are billiant.
The Jurassic Park and Forrest Gump scores are emotional and powerful.
bob seger's old time rock and roll with a young and ever so hot tom cruise dancing around in his tighty whitey's :
The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is my favorite.
Don't forget Kenny's classic "I'm Alright" from Caddyshack..
"Can You Feel The Love Tonight" - Elton John from the Lion King Soundtrack
The Exorcist theme (Tubular Bells - Mike Oldfield) and 2001 Space Odessey.
"In my day you had musicians who experimented with drugs. Now it's druggies experimenting with music" - Alfred G Clark (circa 1972)
I really like what Jon Brion has been doing with films scores especially the I Heart Huckabees score.

I purposely left out any John Williams scores because, well, that's just not fair.
"Oh, look at me! I'm making people happy! I'm the Magical Man from Happy-Land, in a gumdrop house on Lollipop Lane!"
I cant help but do a silly dance ala Rodney Dangerfield if I hear Journey's "Any Way You Want It"

When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
Many of the soundtracks I thought of have already been posted. Any list has to include John Williams, with "Star Wars" and "Raiders of the Lost Ark" leading the way.
James Horner is on my list for "Glory" and "Braveheart."
John Barry scored a number of James Bond films. Perhaps my favorite score from his 007 films is for "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Barry also scored "Somewhere In Time," with a version of "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini" that is incredibly romantic.
Maurice Jarre scored "Dr. Zhivago," with "Lara's Theme."
Max Steiner scored "Casablanca" but wasn't all that happy about having to include "As Time Goes By" in the score; now that's a song that always brings a movie scene to mind.
"Hey...Dad. Wanna Have A Catch?" Kevin Costner in "Field Of Dreams."
The score from "Victory." Everytime I hear it, it puts a spring in my step and makes me want to practice my bicycle kick.
Oingo Boingo songs and any '80s comedy that involved a school or a party as a major plot device.
