    Awesome!!!!
It's absolutely pathetic that people can't have an opinion from actually watching games and supplementing that with stats. If you voice an opinion that doesn't fit into a black/white box you will get completely misrepresented and basically called a tobacco chewing traditionalist...

    That's great!
With his pitching and character, this guy could build a following. Arroy-o-mania...It would great to see him fill the seats every fifth day.

    Great stuff!

On a side note... I've seen Todd Coffey in a commercial for an auto dealer in Dayton too. They usually don't ask bad players to do ads. Been a long time since we have seen TWO PITCHERS "doing commercials" in our parts. Nice...

Just to let you guys know. I don't know if he has done it yet but part of the Dayton deal is he will be doing a signing at the dealership. By the way I haven't seen that commercial how corny is it?
There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

They wheeled a 3x4 steel safe into the clubhouse Sunday morning to store the players' valuables. It took four guys to lift it off a dolly and onto a table.

Said pitcher Kent Mercker: "What's that, Junior Griffey's wallet?"

Graves did one for a car dealership. There have been others (not sure about pitchers), but they're not coming to mind.

Not bad... really. Todd doesn't say a lot. Stands there while Mr. Car Salesman talks up a storm. The typical local car company with a local pro athlete type of thing. I cannot remember the "theme" of it... something like when the REDS need a good delivery they call on Todd Coffey and if you need a good delivery on a car come to....

He might wanna keep his mind on pitching b/c he probably won't be making any pitches in Hollywood anytime soon!

    Re: Bronson Commerical

I believe it goes something like:

Car guy: Hey Todd, in baseball, what's your best pitch?

Coffey: Usually the fastball Car Guy.

Car guy: That's great, but around here what's your best pitch?

Coffey: Come to said car dealership.

That's about all Todd says. The car guy just babbles on about "low" prices and "great" "deals."
