"Bad Lay"... funny, but not very professional!

Par for the course for the NY Post though.

I doubt it. I'd be willing to bet they are indeed incarcerated in September, unless they flee or something. The judge will sentence them then, and it is extremely unlikely that they will be released pending appeal. They will be allowed to self-report, so I'd guess they'll be in federal prison at least by October.

It's going to be extremely tough to appeal. Do you work in state or federal court? AUSAs working on huge cases like this are pretty good, I don't think they'll be that many issues that they can even appeal, let alone win on.

Professionalism is not encouraged at the NY Post headline room.

Once when I was in the city an escalator broke open and the steps caved in and a woman fell in and was grinded up in the gears. The next day the Post said

    "Escalator eats Mother of Two."

    I kid you not.

Kenny Boy and his pal Jeffy deserve every bad-taste headline the Post can muster...not to mention the 165 years. See "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room" if you haven't.

the day I arrived in New York city (in '76) the NY Post headline was "Liz Grieves Missing Dick" (about Liz Taylor and a missing Richard Burton)
