Please Help(Playstation2)

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a Playstation 2 and would like to try the game-playing online experience. I have an ethernet connection(Broadband). I just would like to know what I need to buy to get started, and what are some of the basics? Also I have a ton of the EA Sports games, what do I need to play like Madden or NCAA Football. Also is the headset worth it? And what websites or purchases I will have to make to play on these sites. Thanks A Lot for anyone who can help???

But, since you already got it...

You have to purchase the PS2 network adapter and install the software that comes with it.

Depends on the version of PS2 you have, the new slim one doesn't need the adapter, just plug in and install the software.

Didn't know that. I got the old, huge PS2 (when compared to the slim PS2).
