    Carpenter to DL (shoulder)

    Just saw this on ESPN.

Obviously it doesn't help to lose a guy who's been a complete stud like Carpenter, but Anthony Reyes is waiting in the wings.

I don't wish injury/a trip to the DL on any player, regardless of who they play for.

Injury to the opposition in order to possibly win the division doesn't correct our lack/problems.
"panic" only comes from having real expectations

My understanding is that this is a minor injury (bursa sac/bursitis), and that he's only going to miss one more start, having already missed two.

Is this what others are hearing?
How, then, are those people of the future—who are taking steroids every day—going to look back on baseball players who used steroids? They're going to look back on them as pioneers. They're going to look back at it and say "So what?" - Bill James, Cooperstown and the 'Roids

Yes I heard on the Cardinals broadcast today they only expect him to miss the one more start.
