    5/31 Minor League updates

Dayton played an 11 AM game today and lost in 12 innings 4-3 to West Michigan.

Eymann, Griffin, Hernandez and Cabrera each had 2 hits for the Dragons.
Bruce did not play for some reason today.

Valiquette started and gave up 3ER on 6 H in 4 IP.

That extends the Dragons losing streak to 6 games.

On a side note, Robert Manuel pitched three innings of scoreless ball for the Dragons....
This will not change until the Reds win the World Series.......

Manuel gave up four hits, three singles and a double, and didn't walk anyone. This is about in line with his previous results.

In Chattanooga Joey Votto is 2-3 with 2 doubles, an RBI and 2 runs scored. Javon Moran is 2-4 with 1 run scored. Chattanooga is losing 6-3 in the 7th.

Down in Sarasota, the Reds are losing by a score of 1-0. Sam Lecure has gone 4 innings, allowed 4 hits, 1 run that was unearned and struck out 4 while walking 2.

Very nice start in AA for the 22-year-old. He's a step or two from the doorstep, but I think he's an underrated prospect with a solid future.
