    Trading Dunn...

My offense could take the hit of losing Adam Dunn, plus I have Pat Burrell to fill in his spot. I'd like to get a pitcher for him, but I'm not really sure if I need a SP or CL.

    SP J. Peavy
    SP S. Kazmir
    SP N. Lowry
    RP H. Street
    RP C. Ray
    P J. Zumaya
    BN R. Clemens
    DL B. Sheets
    DL R. Harden

I'm not really sure about Zumaya, but the league does give points for Holds so he has some value. There were no decent closers available and the D-Backs old closer just lost his position basically. Anyways, I think I am OK with SP, especially when Clemens comes back. Question is, what closer should I go after?

Your SPs look good, esp when Harden comes back tomorrow and Clemens comes back in a few weeks. Street and Ray look fine, but Street has been getting beaten up lately. If you want another pitcher, I would look for a starter, since Peavy's shoulder is hurting. It would give you some extra depth. Target a team who needs HRs and runs, Dunn's 2 biggest values.

I would also start to dangle Clemens for whatever you need most. He is risky since no one knows what to expect from him.

If you have someone to drop, see if Rodney from Detroit is available. He could be the next closer in waiting. He is probably gone though since holds count. Ray from Atlanta also.

If you really want a closer for Dunn, I would go after BJ Ryan or another top tier closer. Especially if the team holding him or another top tier closer has multiple options.
