    6/3 Minor League Updates

    Dayton is winning 12-1. BJ Szymanski has his 9th HR of the year in a rout by the Dragons in the 7th.

    Sarasota is down 4-1 in the top of the 9th. Paul Janish has his first home run since his promotion.

    Chattanooga is up 4-1 in the 7th. Joey Votto is 2-3 with an RBI for the Lookouts. Tyler Pelland has 1 walk and 6 strikeouts through 7 innings.

    Louisville won 4-0 for their 6th win in a row. Ray Oledmo and Chris Denorfia both went 2-3 with a walk. Mike Gosling allowed 4 hits in 5.1 innings, three relievers pitched hitless the rest of the way for the Bats.

    Dayton is still up 12-1, now in the 9th inning.
    Here is the box score for the hitters. Unless Beloit scores 11 in the top of the 9th, these numbers will be the same.

    Great outings by Pelland and Ward tonight.

    Shafer threw a 1-2-3 9th inning with 2 K's to lower his ERA to 1.37.

    Pelland with two credible starts in a row. If he had a good breaking pitch, he would be a top prospect as his command improves to go along with his 2 seam groundout machine, alas, he doesn't.
