    Re: Minor League Recap 6-4-06

I was at the Dayton game today... it was cold! Only had a t-shirt, jeans and sandals, so I bought a rain poncho at $10 to keep warm. An observation on Cueto, who seems to have a problem pitching at home (might be the crowd). He was very hittable today, the pbp announcer for the Dragons stated that it was a location problem. Also, he beaned a guy as well with a pitch up and in - the player was on the ground for a long time. He did eventually get up but had to be helped off the field.

Kitty that doesnt sound to good. I usually listen to every Dragons game, but today my brother was graduating HS so I was out. Did you by chance hear if the guy was alright that Cueto hit?

Well, he got up and was helped off the field by the trainer and coach. I usually don't listen to the game on the radio at the ballpark because of the delay - but turned it on after the beaning. I didn't hear anything of his condition afterwards. I would think that he would be taken to a hospital (Miami Valley?) for observation. Beloit will be playing again tomorrow so maybe on the pre-game or in the DDN they will mention it.

I was at the game today too. I have seen Cueto pitch twice this year and it is the only 2 times he has gotten hit hard this year. I haven't heard anything about the player that got hit either. With the way they helped him off I wouldn't be surprised if he had some sort of concussion.
