This draft certainly shouldn't break the bank.

The "other" Chad Tracy would have been a great pick for the Reds.

    85. Baltimore- Zach Britton, LHP, Texas HS

    86. Arizona- Dallas Buck, RHP, Oregon State U.

He dropped a round. Was projected in the second.

MLB's announcer guy says "Ore-GON". Dope.

    87. Arizona- Kevin Hankerd, LF, USC

    88. Texas- Chad Tracy, C, Pepperdine

    Son of Jim.

    89. San Francisco- Clayton Tanner, LHP, California HS

    90. Florida- Torre Langley, C, Georgia HS

Did they hire a Braves guy? Langley is 5-foot-9.

    91. Washington- Stephen King, SS, Florida HS.

Buck lost all of his velocity this year, and was throwing in the high 80s all season. Who knows if he ever gets that back.

Stephen King just went to the Nats. Glad the Reds drafted a college SS with horrible plate discipline over a guy with first round talent(King).

3 college, no HS so far. I think Buckley's drafts have generally been heavy college at the top, so he isn't breaking form.

If we were gonna take a SS/2B/Utility guy, Adam Davis from Florida is better, and hasn't had a torn ACL. (Once again, showing my bias )
