I just noticed that the Braves drafted another 6-4 high school right hander (Kyle Witten). They have made several similar picks. This seems to be their trademark.

Gressick also seems to be a very good hitter:Originally Posted by Red Leader

I wonder if they are going to keep him as a pitcher or have him play outfield.Originally Posted by Red Leader

Wow! Did you see Gressick's OBP and SLG? He had a .449 OBP and a .587 SLG. Not too shabby.Originally Posted by CTA513

My alma mater is usually good for a couple of draftees a year, but this is the first year I've seen where nobody's been chosen on Day 1. This is also the first time since Marc Cornell (who never pitched professionally) that the Reds have taken a Bobcat. Cool beans.Originally Posted by Red Leader
And right after I say all that, the Tigers take another OU pitcher, right-hander Derek Witt, in round 28.

Yeah, I thought Cornell was going to be a good player.
Shows you what I know.

How were these picks ranked? Who are the best available players still left?
