Red Sox take Daniel Bard at #28.

Two nice players for the Sox.

RL, I think you need to start a thread to discuss the Reds draft picks.
School's out. What did you expect?

Can't believe the Sox landed Bard at #28.

Red Sox smart pick taking Bard - could be one of those "What were we all thinking" picks in a couple of years.

I don't mind the Stubbs pick that much. I would have liked the pitcher, but Stubbs isn't a TERRIBLE pick.

Bard's overrated. He most likely has already peeked physically and has nowhere to go but down. His stuff isn't overly good either. May may a decent pen guy.

Will be one of those picks. Bard reminds me of Verlander.

Sox have to be pinching themselves to get Bard that low.
